11 Months

I can't believe my baby is 11 months already!  She is so much fun, but quite a handful!  We love her so much and don't know what we did without her.  Here is what Camryn is up to at 11 months:

- She pulls herself up on everything and walks around holding on to stuff.  She will let go and stand on her own, but she hasn't tried to take steps alone yet.

- She is into EVERYTHING!  She is pretty bored with her baby toys, so she crawls around and explores the apartment all day.  It's lovely.

- She sleeps about 12 hours at night and has one 4 hour nap in the afternoon

- She loves to dance!  She can't hear music and not start moving :)

- She is obsessed with Baby Einstein movies..... she wants to watch about 10 a day

- She finally likes to eat and holds her own bottles

- She gives kisses and loves to blow kisses

- She talks a lot of giberish.  She used to just make a few sounds all the time, but now she just babbles and babbles like she's telling you something

- She loves to look at books.... especially real ones instead of her baby ones :)

- She loves to be a copy cat.  She'll try to say things we say or mimic whatever we do

- She knows where eyes are.  She points to her eyes, pokes my eyes, and blinks slowly.  Sometimes, when you're talking to her, she randomly slowly blinks at you and rolls her eyes.  It's pretty funny :)

- She likes to wave at everyone and everything when she first wakes up.  When I come to get her in the morning or after a nap, she immediately waves at me and then at everything around her.

- She loves to lean back on things and relax.  She stands or sits with her back to the couch a lot so she can lean back and play with toys.  When she sits on our laps, she has to be leaning back against us.

- She cannot hold still!  She is a total wiggle worm, so we spend most of church out in the halls :)

10-11 Month Pictures

Here are some pictures of what Camryn was up to between 10 & 11 months...

Apparently she likes to hang out in ANY open carseat :)

Relaxing in the pool :)

Swimming with her cousins Kylee & Brooklyn

She loved riding in this little car at the furniture store. She turned the steering wheel the whole time!

Having fun on the front porch of the cabin in Pinto

Here is a video of Camryn rocking in a little chair :)  She's a little crazy sometimes

What a little nerd!

Relaxing with a good book :)
She loved crawling around on the blow-up mattress when we had visitors.

Silly girl!

It took forever, but she finally likes & holds her bottles

One morning, we found Camryn sleeping like this...... her pants are down by her ankles haha

Singing & Laughing

If you know Camryn, you know that she pretty much never actually laughs.  She'll smile at you, but it's hard to get a sound with it.  One night, Mitch was reading Cinderella to Camryn and she thought it was hilarious when he said "Poof".  It's pretty stinkin cute to hear her laugh!

Camryn has recently started "singing".  Sometimes it's really soft and pretty and other times (like in the this video) she's basically just yelling.  It's pretty funny.  She has also recently discovered eyes and likes to poke my eyes & blink slowly at me :)  Also, just ignore my singing as I'm trying to get her to sing.  And yes, Camryn is a turd and tries to hit me!

9-10 Month Pictures

Here are some 9-10 month pictures of Camryn and some things she was up to :)

She LOVES to sit in her old carseat.... she could play in there for hours!

Being silly with her shirt on her head :)

In her carseat.... again

Camryn's first ponytail!!

She loved to sit and watch my brother's puppies!  They would all line up and stand on the side of the pool to see her :)

Hafen San Diego Trip- Part 3

On Monday, we spent the day having tons of fun at Sea World.  On Tuesday, we packed up, went into a few cool little stores in Del Mar, ate lunch, and then headed home.  The trip was so much fun and we hope that we can do it again another year :)

 Ready for Sea World :)

Camryn & Mitch in front of the dolphin show

She was excited for the show to start :)

Have I ever mentioned that I hate sharks?!

Camryn's face is hilarious in this picture!  We were under the shark tank...

Paige, Chance, Logan, Kolten, Kashden & Braxton

The Sea Lion & Otter show is always really funny :)

Here are about a million flamingos.....

...... that Camryn was clearly not impressed with!

Camryn and this bird had a staring contest for about 5 minutes

She obviously wasn't very happy with the Shamu tail headband

 In front of Shamu's tank

 A whale!

Whatever was behind me is apparently much more interesting than Shamu :)

 Ready for Shamu's show!

A bunch of the Hafens getting soaked

She eventually crashed out

Camryn REALLY wanted to grab one of these penguins.... watch the video below!

Having fun at lunch before we headed back home

We had a yummy lunch out on the patio of this restuarant

She wanted to have one of these penguins.... so she yelled and tried to grab them :)

Hafen San Diego Trip- Part 2

On our third day in San Diego, we attempted to take family pictures by the beach and then we spent the day in Old Town and swimming.

This is the best group picture we could get :)

 Kim & Becky

Our little family :)  Too bad we're all squinting so badly!

Some of the kids got to dress up at the Mormon Batallion in Old Town

Brodeyn & Logan panning for gold

Ready for lunch at the Cafe Coyote!

I love these eyes!!

This isn't a good picture, but I had to post it because Camryn is smiling just like my brother Curtis used to!  She's so goofy sometimes haha

This kid is a true Hafen and LOVES Pepsi!

They served us 32oz Pepsis!  They were much needed :)

Old Town

Camryn was mesmerized by these horses

Apparently ATMs have been around for a long time in Old Town :)

Old Town

We didn't end up stopping at the temple, but my sister in law Micci took this awesome picture when she was there :)

Camryn couldn't get enough of the Pepsi at Cafe Coyote in Old Town :)
Yes, I'm aware that I'm a bad mother and shouldn't be giving my child soda.
