The Baby's Corners...

Since Mitch and I only have one bedroom, we get to share it with the baby.  So instead of us saying the "baby's room" we say the "baby's corners"... since technically she just has half the room.  Anyways, I finally think that I have everything ready for baby Camryn :)

I made these picture frames to match her name blocks...

The name blocks I made...

I decided to just make her a quilt instead of buying a whole crib bedding set

And here I am at 35 weeks....... and counting!!

Good As New...

Instead of buying a new dresser for the baby, Mitch and I decided that we'd try to be handy and refinish one.  A lady in my mom's ward was getting rid of an old dresser, so we took it.  Let's just say that it was VERY unattractive... I wasn't sure it was fixable!  But with some sanding, wood filler, a few coats of paint, and new handles, it actually turned out really cute.

I forgot to take a picture of the whole thing before we started, but here are some of the drawers...

And this is the final product :)  Much better right?

4th of July Weekend

We ususally spend the 4th of July weekend at the Blake family reunion at the cabin on Kolob, but my grandpa was sick this year, so it was cancelled.  Instead, my family had a little party over at my Aunt MaryAnn's house.  We went swimming, visited, ate pizza, and then watched fireworks while eating rootbeer floats.  It was lots of fun and I especially loved getting to swim.  It's amazing how much better it makes you feel when you're 8 months pregnant!  Anyways, I took lots of picture of my nieces and nephews.  Especially babies Ty and Belle who are 8 & 9 months old.

Ty

This is my all-time favorite picture of Belle.  She has a FEW rolls :)

He is such a calm and sweet baby

My dad and Belle..... she looks just like he did as a baby, so we just call her "mini-me"
