Our Little Dancer
All of a sudden, Camryn has started dancing whenever she hears music. We've been making her dance since she was a tiny baby, but out of nowhere she decided to do it all by herself. It's pretty cute :)
We Have A Crawler!
Camryn is crawling! I swear that she was born about a week ago! Where has the time gone? Sometimes I get sad and feel like time is going way too fast and I'm missing out on things. I wish I could just pause time for a little while. Anyways, our big girl started crawling when she was exactly 8 months and 2 weeks. Here is proof :)
I'm sure that she was so sick of us putting things in front of her and then moving them farther and farther away! We're so mean :)
My Little Cowgirl
A couple weeks ago, Camryn and I went up to St. George to watch my nieces and nephews show their steers in the Stock Show. The kids all did great and Camryn had lots of fun :)

Blue Angels
About a month ago, the Blue Angels came to St. George to perform their air show. Lucky for us, they had their show at the new airport, which is right by my parents' house. They even flew over the house a few times. The weather wasn't very good, but we had an awesome view of the show and got to watch it both days. I took a lot of videos, but here are two of them....
8 months
My sweet baby turned 8 months on April 16th. She is SOOO much fun and its amazing to watch her learn new things all the time. Some thing about Camryn at 8 months...
- She is sitting up really well & scoots all over the place to get whatever she wants
- She is talking all the time... she says dada, mama, no no no, uh-oh, baba, and all sorts of other sounds
- She loves her mom for comfort and her dad for fun! She gets soooo excited when Mitch walks in the door from work :) She thinks he is the funniest guy ever and you can just tell that she adores him.
-She thinks that she needs to be held ALL the time. Everytime I walk by, she gets excited, puts her arms out, and opens & closes her hands (to say "mommy pick me up!"). So when I don't pick her up, she has a royal meltdown. Its lovely to listen to all day :)
-She thinks that whatever you're eating, it's really hers. She LOVES real food and signs for "more" the whole time she watches you eat. She is eating all her baby food really well now, and she does decent with her bottles. It's taken 8 months, but she's finally eating!
-She still is horrible about taking naps. Some days she'll take 2 naps and one will be 2 hours long. Then the next day, she'll only take one 30 minute nap. But she is getting better about sleeping through the night again. She's been going to sleep on her own at night and usually she sleeps 8-11 hours. Some nights she still crys several times and I have to go give her the binkie.
- She learned to put her own binkie in! That has been awesome (she can plug herself when she is sad) but horrible at the same time. We joke that she is like a crack addict..... if she sees her binkie, she HAS TO HAVE IT! I have to hide it from her, because she would have it in her mouth all day every day if she could.
- She is getting worse with her temper. She is generally a REALLY good baby and has a good mood, but sometimes her temper gets out of control. She already throws some serious tantrums.
- She tries to mimic you with actions and with sounds. She has learned to clap, do patty-cakes, wave bye bye, fake cough, and other things that I can't think of at the moment :)
- She is seriously OBSESSED with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. We watch it every morning when she wakes up and sometimes throughout the day to entertain her while I'm trying to feed her or get something done. She really just loves the songs. No matter what she's doing, if she hears the "hotdog" song come on, she drops everything to give her full attention.
It's amazing how quickly the time has flown by! Here are some pictures of Camryn from 6 to 8 months.

So Camryn went through a phase of yelling like this all the time. It drove us NUTS, but thankfully she stopped doing it after a week or so :)
