Family Trip to Salt Lake City

Mitch and I went on a little vacation with some of my siblings a few weekends ago. We went to Salt Lake with my brothers Casey and Tyler and their families. We went up on Thursday and after going to the Quilted Bear and dinner at the Red Iguana, Mitch and I met his family to watch a Bee's Game. On Friday we all went to Raging Waters and had a blast! After that, we went bowling, and then Mitch, my niece Kylee, and I went to the mall while everyone else went out to dinner. On Saturday we spent the day at Lagoon and made a trip to Smith & Edwards. On Sunday, Kylee went with Mitch and I to Park City for shopping and a yummy lunch at the Baja Cantina before we headed home. It was a busy, but really fun weekend and I'm glad we got a vacation in before Mitch goes back to school :)

I almost died the other day when I walked into the storage room right off our hall and found THIS on the sticky pad!!! This is probably the biggest one we've ever seen and it was INSIDE the house!!!!! Ugh, gross. And if you look, there is ANOTHER scorpion stuck on top of him. And the worst part is, after a day, we noticed baby scorpions on the pads.... so we're pretty sure it had babies! Suddenly, moving in with my mom is sounding like a really good idea!!!

Wickley & Ruth Gubler Reunion 2010

The first weekend in August is always the Wickley & Ruth Gubler Reunion, so of course, we were there :) It was held on Kolob, in the same place as last year. It was overcast and rained on us a little bit, but it was still lots of fun.
