Hafen San Diego Trip- Part 2

On our third day in San Diego, we attempted to take family pictures by the beach and then we spent the day in Old Town and swimming.

This is the best group picture we could get :)

 Kim & Becky

Our little family :)  Too bad we're all squinting so badly!

Some of the kids got to dress up at the Mormon Batallion in Old Town

Brodeyn & Logan panning for gold

Ready for lunch at the Cafe Coyote!

I love these eyes!!

This isn't a good picture, but I had to post it because Camryn is smiling just like my brother Curtis used to!  She's so goofy sometimes haha

This kid is a true Hafen and LOVES Pepsi!

They served us 32oz Pepsis!  They were much needed :)

Old Town

Camryn was mesmerized by these horses

Apparently ATMs have been around for a long time in Old Town :)

Old Town

We didn't end up stopping at the temple, but my sister in law Micci took this awesome picture when she was there :)

Camryn couldn't get enough of the Pepsi at Cafe Coyote in Old Town :)
Yes, I'm aware that I'm a bad mother and shouldn't be giving my child soda.

Hafen San Diego Trip- Part 1

Like usual, I'm behind on my blogging!  At the beginning of June, we took a trip with all of Mitch's family down to San Diego.  His parents rented a house a few blocks from the beach for the whole family to stay together.  We had tons of fun over the 4 days and can't wait to hopefully do it again :)  Since I have so many pictures and videos, I'm going to break the trip up into 3 posts.

On Friday, we spent most of the day driving down to San Diego.  When we got there, we checked out the house and went swimming.  On Saturday, we spent most of the day at the beach and in the pool back at the house.

The view from the front of the house..... that's the ocean just a few blocks down :)

The house was decorated pretty crazy.... like the leopard carpet?

The lovely topless mermaid inbetween the kitchen and dining room...

The front yard/garden

Camryn was happy to be out of the car after 6 hours of driving!

Logan showing off her jumping skills...

Her twin Chance wanted to show off his skills too.... he's not quite as brave :)

I loved getting to run on the beach every morning!

Family time at the beach..... if you zoom in, Brodeyn looks pretty funny :)

 Brodeyn

 She LOVED the beach!

She loved the sand.... so much that she even ate some of it!

Mitch LOVES the ocean.... he really wants to move to California

 My cute nephew Cason

 Braxton, Kolten & Paige

She liked the water even though it was FREEZING cold

This kid loves her dad :)

 Family picture time...
Don't mind me looking gross; we went to the beach right after I ran 4 miles!

Camryn "helping" her cousin Brax digging a hole

 Amazed by the sand

Camryn is our little nerd :)  She has a really hard time opening her eyes when it's sunny outside haha

Weird

I don't know if it makes me a bad mom to say this, but sometimes my child is really weird.  I'm not sure where she came from!  Sometimes she is really silly and sometimes she is pretty mean!

I have NO idea why, but Camryn went through a phase of folding herself in half all the time! She seriously did this for about 15 minutes straight when I was vedio taping her :)

The last 15 seconds of this video are pretty funny.  As I've mentioned before, Camryn loves her daddy.  Sometimes when she is having quality time with him, she gets REALLY bugged by me interrupting.  Check at her scowl when I try talking to her!

Our little fish

I'm pretty sure that she would live in the bathtub if we would let her!

Always Entertaining

Lately, Camryn has gotten quite the personality!  Every time I turn around, she is doing something silly.  Here are a few examples.....

I'm not sure where she learned to kiss haha

Having fun trying to get her shirt off :)

Standing in her carseat.... she was rocking back and forth balancing

Showin some crack!!

She fell asleep in her high-chair while watching cartoons after dinner

Memorial Day

We spent Memorial Day with Mitch's family up in Pinto.  We mostly just hung out at the cabin, but here are a few pictures that we took when we went for a little family walk :)

Can you tell that she LOVES to ride on Daddy's shoulders?

Riding the carousel...

Last month, we went to a birthday party in St. George for my cousin's baby who was turning one.  For her party, they rented out the carousel at town square for everyone to have unlimited rides for over an hour!  Needless to say, all the little kids had a blast.  Like always though, Camryn didn't act like she was very impressed :)  At first she cried a few times, but she mostly just looked around with wide eyes.  I think she was used to it by about the 10th time she went on a ride! Here are a few pictures and a video...

Camryn got to ride with Mariah most of the time....

Kylee is in yellow and she is holding Belle.  Lyla is in the striped shirt.  Dillon is behind with the hat

I threatened Dillon that I'd show these pictures to his baseball friends.... he hid from the camera the rest of the time :)

Brooklyn was in heaven!

A little video of Camryn riding with Mariah....
you can tell from her face that she isn't too sure about it!
(WARNING": this video is pretty loud!)
