Darrel & Carolyn Gubler Reunion 2012

Over the weekend of May 18-20, we went out to Seegmiller Mountain on the Arizona Strip for the 3rd annual Darrel & Carolyn Gubler Reunion.  Almost everyone in the family made it out and we had tons of fun!  The theme was "Top Shots"..... so needless to say, there was lots of shooting!  My sister in law, MJ, took tons of pictures and I took a bunch of videos. I'm going to try really hard to narrow it down and not make this the longest post ever!

And here is just one of the many videos I took.
This is my nephew Blake shooting a bottle of tannerite.  There is a wood bucket leaning on the bottle of tannerite so that you can really see how big the explosion is when he shoots it.

Shoes, Sippy Cups, & Mirrors

These are a few of Camryn's favorite things!

Camryn's Tricks

Camryn has lots of tricks... but I haven't been good at catching them on video before she moves on to new ones!  So lately I tried to get a few of them on camera :)

Here is Camryn waving bye-bye.  She normally does it with both hands :)

Camryns loves to randomly "snuff".  I don't know what it's really called, but she scrunches her nose, sticks out her lips and sniffs loudly out of her nose :)

Camryn was in the bathroom just playing with a cup.  About halfway through the video, she drops the cup and she says "uh-oh!"

Camryn is really good at...

making messes.  She seems to find a lot of joy in dumping stuff ALL over the floor.  Yay.

She especially loves to pull all of the CDs off the shelves :)

9 Months

This little girl turned 9 months old on May 16th

Camryn had her 9 month check up and the doctor says that she looks great!  She is right on track for her age.  He said that normally, he sees kids go down on their weight percentages between 6 and 9 months.... but not Camryn!  She went up :)

Weight = 20 lbs 5 oz    (77%)

Height = 27 in    (32%)

Head = 17.3 in    (52%)

Camryn is a SUPER active little girl.  She is going, going, going all day long.  Now that she can crawl and pull herself up on things, she is having lots of fun discovering everything :)

-She crawls all over the apartment and pulls herself up on anything she possibly can.  She is slowly learning how to move her feet while she's standing

-She is discovering lots of things in the house that we wish she didn't!  She has found the outlets & plugs, the toilet (likes to put her hands in the water), tries to get into cabinets, etc.

-Apparently her toys are now boring.  Most of the time, she doesn't want to play with her toys... she would rather follow me around, hang on my legs, and cry.  Its awesome :)

-The week after she turned 9 months, her first two teeth cut through on the bottom

-She loves to say dada and uh-oh.  She says da da and turns her hands up to ask "where is dada?" and she says "uh-oh" whenever she drops things

-She is obsessed with shoes.  Whenever she disappears, I can find her in our closet playing with Mitch's shoes

-Whenever I clean up her toys, she immediately goes over and dumps all of them out again.... but not to play with them.  She just wants them dumped out haha

-She still has serious "stranger danger" anxiety.  She normally doesn't cry at strangers, but she stares them down like nobody's business!

Here are a few recent pictures...

Discovering new things in the apartment :)

Sometimes she holds onto her carseat like shes scared for her life haha

She is seriously a diva sometimes haha

Having fun watching her cousins play baseball

 She LOVED swinging with her cousins

Standing and playing with her exersaucer

She seems so big now!  Where has the time gone?
