Ladies don't spit......

but Camryn sure does!  A few months ago, she figured out how to spit when she was really mad and crying one night.  She eventually stopped doing it a few weeks later, but then remembered how to do it again recently.  Here are a few videos....

Can you tell that she has a little bit of an anger problem when she throws her arms around?  Yikes... I'm hoping she isn't a fit thrower like I was when I was a toddler!

When Mitch started his new job in Vegas, Camryn and I came down with him for the first week, and we stayed at my brother's house.  While we were there, my niece Brooklyn did a great job of entertaining Camryn!  It is seriously SOOOO hard to get her to laugh!  So, it was pretty amazing when Brooklyn got her to laugh for like 10 minutes.

Is there anything better than hearing a baby laugh?!

Months 4 & 5

Camryn's First Christmas 2011

This Chistmas was lots of fun with Camryn around :)  She got to wear special Christmas jammies and a santa hat.  Technically it was our year to be with my family, but we always end up bouncing back and forth between the families.  It was a busy couple of days, but we had lots of fun seeing lots of family and Camryn definitely got spoiled with lots of gifts!

4 Month Check-Up

It's 2 months late, but back in December, I took Camryn to her 4 month check-up.  She hadn't been feeling well the weekend before, and we found out that she had a viral infection, which then cause an ear infection.  Poor baby!  She got some antibiotics and was feeling better within a few days.  Other than that, she was doing really great! 

Weight = 14 lbs 10 oz    (71%)

Length = 24 in    (38%)

Head = 15.7 in    (21%)

The doctor told me, "Her measurements mean that she's still a lot fatter than she is tall!" She doesn't have a chance..... she comes from two short families!

At the visit, Dr. Clark asked if she was rolling over yet.  I told him that she would roll over onto her side, but wouldn't roll the whole way over.  He told me that we needed to put her on her stomach even more, and that she needed to be rolling over both ways by the time she was 6 months.  Apparently Camryn just needed to hear him say that, because she started rolling over the next day!

It's been way too long since I updated the blog! I've been meaning to put up some new posts for over 2 months, but we don't have Internet at the new place yet! So I promise that I'll get some new stuff posted whenever I have Internet again :) I'm only 3 months behind.... Better late than never right?
